Why Work With Us?

Owner and Lead Trainer, Andrew, practices some off leash reliability in the mountains with his dog, Lola the West Highland Terrier, while out shooting with his family.

Attention To Detail

When you bring your dog to us for a board and train program, we understand what your dog needs. By having a smaller facility we are able to give your dog the attention they deserve through short but regular training sessions, multiple walks and socialization daily.

Location

Our facility is located at the back of Pet Medical Services on State Street in Orem. We have access to the 22 acre Scera Park for daily walks, as well as a variety of dog friendly locations right on our door-step where we can work with your dog.

Transition Lessons

While your dog is with us, we will schedule a number of lessons where you will get to come in and work with your dog. We will show you the progress your dog has made in real time and teach you how to work with your dog when you eventually bring him/her back home.

Follow Up Program

One of the main reasons to train with us is our follow up program that is included with your board and train program. Once you take your dog home we include a number of follow up sessions in your home to help make sure everything has transferred over to you, as well as unlimited access to all of our group classes to help your dog to keep up on their training around distractions.

Medical Care On Demand

We are the only training facility in the area that has a full time vet on location during the day and access to one after hours, so if your dog is in need of some special attention or urgent care while they stay with us, we can get it for them without racing against the clock.

Training Your Dogs Way

We understand that every dog is different and each dog has a their own way of learning. We use positive reinforcement techniques and rewards based training when working with your dog. Whether it be food, treats, play or affection, our trainers will reward your dog with what they enjoy most when learning their new skills.

Daily Socialization

When working with your dog, we understand the importance of socialization, not just with other dogs but with the world around them as well. When you bring your dog to us for a board and train we make sure they receive every opportunity to play and interact with the other dogs in our care. We take your dog out to the variety of dog friendly locations and teach them how to navigate the world around them in a safe and appropriate manner.
